Preview “The New American Drug Lords”

When 75-year-old Arthur G. Nadel was arrested for running a huge Ponzi scheme which looted almost $400 million from investors, it marked the second time this decade that an owner of what used to be called Huffman Aviation has been implicated in major crimes normally associated with the Mafia.

Ponzi schemes, of course, are a trademark Mob specialty. So is heroin trafficking.

While 78-yr old Wallace J. Hilliard owned Huffman Aviation, and Mohamed Atta took flying lessons there, DEA Agents busted Hilliard’s Learjet while it was carrying 43 lbs. of heroin on July 25, 2000 at Orlando Executive Airport.

Terrorist HIJACKERS, heroin trafficking, hundred million dollar Ponzi schemes… How many small towns with barely ten thousand people “boast” a tiny local airport whose major business is owned by a heroin trafficker disguised as a flight school owner who plays host to terrorist hijackers, and then later is sold through to a piano playing patsy who fronts a massive $400 million Ponzi scheme?

Before Osama bin Laden became the world’s most wanted terrorist, he was the world’s biggest heroin kingpin.  In 2000 Afghanistan produced more than half of the world’s supply of opium. (Today it produces almost two-thirds.)

Like any good businessman, Osama was eager to penetrate the world’s biggest market for his particular product.

In the case of heroin, that market is the United States of America.

Enter Mohamed Atta, ringleader of a cadre of men who will one day become terrorist hijackers.

Atta chose as his U.S. base Huffman Aviation, a flight school in tiny Venice Florida, a modest business of no particular note (it has never grossed more than two or three million dollars a year) which had recently been sold to two men we have subsequently learned have deep connections into international organized crime.

Based on overwhelming evidence uncovered during the past seven years, Huffman Aviation can today be seen to have been a nexus for a RICO (Racketeer- Influenced Corrupt Organization) continuing criminal enterprise.

Evidence for the above assertions can be found in both the story published today on our website at www.madcowprod.com/07272009.html, as well as in today’s 8:30 preview from our upcoming documentary “The New American Drug Lords.”

Must Reading for Spooks

Our investigative efforts have been widely ignored: by the mainstream media, as well as in the partisan quarters on both the Right and the Left.

One audience does avidly follow our work, however. We have discovered, and had confirmed again and again, that our books and news articles are must reading for spooks. (More on this later.)

This  may be small consolation, but then, as most of us have learned, small consolation is better than none.

Despite this frustration, we have soldiered on, made do as best we could, and self-published our books with Kris Millegan, a friend and partner who has been making a name for himself as a latter-day Lawrence Ferlinghetti out in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. (www.trineday.com)

And despite being kept out of bookstore for more than five years after its publication in 2001, “Barry & the boys” has sold steadily for more than eight years, and become something of an underground classic.

However today’s current financial crisis makes this jerry-rigged set-up untenable. Example: We can muster only half of the money necessary for a (third) re-printing of “Barry & the boys.”  As a result copies of it are selling on Amazon marketplace, I’m told, for as much as $185.

I am hardly the only person suffering the adverse effects of this Great Recession. Moreover I feel blessed—and extremely fortunate—to have been able to pursue my curiosity about how the world really works for as long as I have.

What Needs to Be Done

To continue, in the next few months I must raise $25,000: To reprint “Barry & the boys;” to burn several thousand DVD’s of  “The New American Drug Lords;” and to put  my upcoming book, now tentatively titled “Gangster America,” into bookstores this winter.

To do that, I’ve dug out the carton of “Barry & the boys” I long ago put into storage, and will be signing and selling the few remaining copies for donations.  Visit the store for details and prices. (If you buy a signed book and then put it up for sale at Amazon marketplace, you should make a tidy profit.)

Still, given, the current economy, I don’t know whether even this is enough to continue.

Which brings me to the point of this blog:

Over the past decade I have amassed a wealth of evidence, documents, and anecdotes, a treasure trove of never-before-seen footage and unpublished information about the people I’ve been following since I began work on “Barry & the boys almost a decade ago.

Beginning with today’s story and preview video,  I will be publishing as much of it over the next few months as I can right here.

So, even if I’m unable to continue, future investigators will have access to what I’ve uncovered—hopefully they’ll even credit me!—and one day help free us from the yolk of a barely-visible elite who run this country as their private fiefdom.

Stay tuned!

Huffman Aviation: A Continuing Criminal Enterprise

(Read the story at http://www.madcowprod.com/07272009.htm Then return and join the forum here.)

Art Nadel, the recent owner of Huffman Aviation accused of running a Ponzi scheme which allegedly stole almost $400 million from investors, is the only person so far charged with a crime.

However if authorities persist in claiming that claim Nadel was a “lone-nut financial gunslinger” they will be ignoring the richly-documented history of criminal fraud involving the owners of Huffman Aviation that goes back for more than a decade.

At least four financial scams, each looting more than $100 million, have criminal roots in the fertile soil— the “Octo-Mom” fertile soil—of the Venice Municipal Airport.

Almost immediately after its purchase in the summer of 1999 by Wallace J. Hilliard and Rudi Dekkers, the aviation facility became the center of a series of financial scams that included Ponzi schemes, pension fraud, international stock swindles, and fraudulent bankruptcies which have altogether looted more than $1 billion from the American economy.

Huffman Aviation, the flight training facility which housed both of the terrorist pilots who crashed passenger jets into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, has been operating as a continuing criminal enterprise, as defined by the Federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization) Act.
